"Fully evolved red colour. As always with Lafite plenty going on on the nose; cigars, cedar, old wood and redcurrants. Dry leathery wine; lots of meaty chewy currant flavour. Nice length, needs food. A lot of grip for Lafite, indicative of the vintage. Drink now. ***1/2" Mar 2002 DW
