The faded rust-red field with scrolling arabesques ending in split palmettes entwined with flowering vine around a central ivory cusped medallion filled with similar scrolling strapwork, the stepped ivory spandrels with part-palmettes and geometric panels, in an ivory tree and shrub border between indigo flowering vine stripes and boteh minor stripes, a plain rust-red outer stripe, even low overall wear, selvages rebound, fringes missing at both ends
