WEST ANATOLIA, FIRST HALF 18TH CENTURY
The ivory field with columns of angular vine together with floral sprays, a floral pendant below the mid-blue mihrab arch filled with flowerheads and linked angular vine, a mid-blue palmette and angular vine cross-panel above and below, in a brown border containing polychrome flowerheads issuing serrated leaves together with rosettes and angular leafy vine between floral meander and flowerhead stripes, rewoven patches in the light blue field, small scattered repairs and touches of repiling, a few rows of knots missing at either end
