Lot Essay

The date of the letter to Brian Jones from Eric Easton - 7th May, 1963, appears to contradict Bill Wyman's account of when the Management Contract between the Stones, Andrew Oldham and Eric Easton was signed. According to Wyman, this contract ...was signed on behalf of the Stones by Brian Jones on 1 May 1963. It was to run for three years from 6 May.., the carbon letter in this Lot however, suggests that on 7th May, 1963, Jones was still negotiating the Management Agreement with Oldham and Easton.
On the 23rd July, 1964, Linda Lawrence gave birth to her first child who was Brian Jones' fourth illegitimate child, Julian Mark.
