A scrapbook dating from 1962-1966, containing a collection of ephemera and autographs belonging to Radio D.J. Dave Scott [real name Roy Bushby], including:
- a page signed and inscribed in blue ink Paul McCartney, All the best!; Best Wishes, Ringo Starr, John Lennon and in blue ballpoint pen George Harrison, the page additionally embellished with a Parlophone Records publicity photograph of The Beatles and a newspaper clipping regarding an interview with them backstage;
- approximately 80 other signatures, artists include: Emile Ford, Eden Kane, Gene Vincent (2), Billy Fury, Tommy Quickly, Billy J. Kramer, Duane Eddy, Helen Shapiro, Sandie Shaw, The Swinging Blue Jeans, Freddie Garrity, Brian Poole And The Tremeloes, Cliff Richard, Marianne Faithfull, The Hollies, Johnny Kidd And The Pirates and The Kinks;
- an autograph note on A Personal !! from Jimmy Savile Limited headed stationery... Dear Dave, A pleasure for me to help with the hospital but time is awkward as I'll be in Manchester. Hows about taping a message, if you have a tape machine to play it back on. Let me know speeds etc + I can do one at Luxy. Best, Jimmy, 1p.;
- approximately 12 black and white photographs of Dave Scott in the studio at Radio Laarbruch, Germany or Luton and with various stars including Julie Grant, Johnny Kidd And The Pirates and The Hollies, largest -- 9x6½in. (22.8x16.5cm.); and
- a quantity of press clippings relating to Dave Scott's career with Radio Laarbruck Forces Station and British Forces Radio Networks, Luton; the pages of the scrapbook additionally inscribed in Scott's hand with scripts, cast lists and details of radio shows produced by Scott
