Lot Essay

These signatures, those in Lots 82 and 155-158 and the recording in Lot 159 were obtained by the vendor's father who was the manager of the Odeon cinema in Southend-on-Sea in the 1960s. The Beatles appeared at this venue twice, firstly on 31st May, 1963, and again on 9th December, 1963.
