Lot Essay

Rubber Soul was recorded at EMI over a hectic five-week schedule beginning on 12th October, 1965. The final running order was worked out by George Martin on 16th November, and the album was in the shops by 3rd December. Rubber Soul is The Beatles' transitional album between Help! and the experimental Revolver. The track released as Norwegian Wood (This Bird Has Flown) still has its inital title of This Bird Has Flown, mis-listed here as This Bird Had Flown.
