RA 17/19, with nickel-finished lever movement, 17 jewels, Guillaume balance, free sprung regulator, engraved gold cuvette, the white enamel dial with Arabic numerals, gilt moon-style hands, outer blue and red enamel Arabic tachymeter scales, two subsidiary dials indicating 30 minutes register and constant seconds, in circular plain case, split seconds chronograph mechanism operatured through a button in the band and through the crown, case, cuvette, dial and movement signed

Vacheron Constantin confirm production of the present watch in 1931.

Accompanied by one copy of the Bulletin de Dépot and two copies of timing sheets from the Geneva Observatory, confirming that the watch has been presented at the 1931 Geneva First Class Timing Contest, category Complicated Timepieces. As it was the only participant in this category no classification was made.

The engraved inscription on the cuvette reads Certificat de 1ère Classe à l'Observatoire Astronomique de Genève.
