With gilt-finished cylinder movement, plain three arm steel balance, blued steel flat balance spring with bimetallic compensation curb on the regulator, gold cuvette, the silvered engine-turned dial with Roman numerals on blank chapter ring, blued steel moon-style hands, fan-shaped aperture calibrated for degrees in Celsius ranging from minus 10 to plus 40 and inscribed Froid (cold) and Chaud (hot), subsidiary seconds, in engine-turned case with back centred by a small circular cartouche, balance stopped by a sliding lever in the band, case numbered, cuvette signed
