Lot Essay

Accompanied by Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch with diamond hour markers in 1953 and its subsequent sale on 1st March 1957. Furthermore delivered with original fitted brown leather presentation box.

Reference 2443 was launched in 1948 and to the best of our knowledge, the present watch has never been offered at auction and is only the sixth example in platinum with diamond-set numerals from this reference known to appear in public.
