Tasting note from a representative bottle from this cellar:
Pale orange-red, the colour of Tavel rosé. The nose has no signs of excessive age or decay. It is perfumed, fragrant and fresh. On the palate, this is silky and delicate, with impressively sustained body and fruit intensity. This lace-like texture and exceptional finesse recall Grands-Echézeaux or Musigny - it surely has to be a high Clos-Vougeot ! The finish is amazingly sweet and long. AH

Pale, with a lovely glow and perfectly mature open rim; again a really good, sweet, slightly singed bouquet; the sweetest of th Boyer trio, rich, with good length and bite. MB
