Lot Essay

Marie-Marguerite Louise Thebaudin de Bordigné (b. 1846) was married in 1865 to the sculptor Henri Geoffroy de La Planche, Vicomte de Ruillé (see lot 168). She was the grandmother of Anne de Ruillé, the last chatelaine of Gallerande (see House sale Christie's Paris, 30 March 2004).
