Rectangular concave curved box of pocket-fitting shape with bulging polished sides, the lid and base centred by rectangular panels of wavy horizontal engine-turning creating a moiré pattern within broad matted frames stamped with trailing foliage, wavy slightly raised polished gold thumbpiece
