The dark-blue ground body decorated in raised-paste three coloured gilding with two oviform cartouches of flowers and fruit below fretted borders with husk ornament, between swags suspended from a richly-gilt shoulder above a band of overlapping stiff leaves, the shoulder moulded and gilt with acanthus, the cover with a pierced ball finial (the cover matched)
