A Minton majolica jardiniere and stand
DATE CODE FOR 1877, IMPRESSED UPPERCASE MARKS
The jardiniere moulded with trailing fox-gloves, and green foliage and ferns, reserved on a brown ground, below a shaped green rim and two acanthus-moulded handles, the interior glaze in a pale-pink, the shaped stand similarly decorated and with a pale-pink well (very minute chipping to glaze and extremities of the jardiniere, two over-painted chips to the underside of the rim of the stand further, minor footrim chipping)
