A St Louis latticinio vase; a jug and a pen-cleaner
MID 19TH CENTURY
The vase of tapering straight-sided shouldered form, with a flared neck, striped in pink and latticinio with spiralling threads within a clear, ribbed body, opaque white rim (slight cracks to base), 5½ in. (14 cm.) high; the jug of globular form, with a trefoil neck, striped in opaque white within a clear, ribbed body, loop handle, opaque pink rim, 3¾ in. (9.5 cm.) high; the pen-cleaner of circular form, filled with spiralling opaque white threads, the rim enclosing a red and white corkscrew thread, the centre with hinged metal fitting enclosing a brush, on metal foot, 3 in. (7.6 cm.) diam. (3)
