PROBABLY GERMAN, SECOND QUARTER 18TH CENTURY, LATER DECORATED
The double domed cornice above a pair of arched divided mirrored doors with later mirror plates engraved with coronets and enclosing a fitted interior, the base with a slant-lid enclosing a graduated fitted interior above two short and two long drawers on ogee bracket feet, decorated throughout with gilt chinoiserie landscapes, with French & Co. number 17068, and one drawer inscribed in pencil and another inscribed in chalk B25359, refreshments to the decoration, particularly to the sides and interior of doors, interior of top section refitted
