BLUE CROSSED SWORDS MARK, INCISED 2778 AND PRESSNUMMERN 35 AND 66, RED PAINTER'S MARK 25, CIRCA 1760
Naturalistically modelled as a small melon with yellow and green skin, the handle formed as a leafy branch; together with a miniature melon-shaped tureen, impressed 169 to stand and painted 34 to cover, 19th century, modelled as a small green and yellow reeded melon on an oval base moulded with green leaves, 3½ in. (8.9 cm.) wide
