aquatint with touches of hand-coloring, circa 1860, on heavy wove paper, with margins, laid down on board, remains of an old glue on the upper margin edge with associated staining, some moisture staining mostly in the margins, a 2 x 3 in. loss at the upper margin edge and an associated 5 in. diagonal tear extending 3 ins. into the image, a small loss at the corner lower right and other tiny losses at the margin edges, in a white mat and faux gilt frame, not examined out of the frame
