Two famille verte dishes
KANGXI
A plate enamelled to the centre with a bird perched in a willow tree beside branches of prunus and chrysanthemum, the everted rim encircled by a green ground dotted border enriched with cartouches of fish between lotus sprays, 23.5 cm. diam.; and a small saucer dish, painted to the centre with a butterfly hovering above flowering peony, rim polished, 15.6 cm. diam.
