The arched cornice centred by an acanthus clasp issuing floral trails, above a laurel leaf bezel and a white enamelled dial signed 'PAUL CONRARD A LIEGE', the four-pillar movement with anchor escapement and strike on bell, flanked by glazed panels and above a pair of glazed panelled doors centred by a sliding door, the base with a hinged slope with bookrest enclosing a fitted interior with pigeon-holes and drawers, above a pair of panelled doors centred by a conforming sliding door, on a moulded plinth and bun feet, minor restorations
