The artist signed her first works with her maiden name, Camille Carlier. During this period she is still a student of Pierre Vignal, who was an important watercolourist. They married in 1920. Until circa 1926 she signs off her watercolours and gouaches with 'Carlier-Vignal'. After she marries the painter Eugéne Pascau, she signs off her work with her artist name 'Camille Pascau-Vignal'. From 1905 onwards she participated in the 'Salon des Artistes Francais' where she has received several prizes.
