AN INTERESTING 19th century NOVELTY MARINE TIMEPIECE COMPENDIUM
of modelled metal in the form of a stylised torpedo boat with funnel, with thermometer, gun turret, ventilator with barometer, deck rails, deck lights, compass and ensign. The hull with bow torpedo tube, clock with torpedo over, four-blade propeller and rudder, is pinned through the keel to a metal base on a red marble plinth (thermometer a modern replacement, missing parts and wear). Measurements overall -- 14½ x 18in. (37 x 46cm.)
