the 4½in. silvered dial signed and numbered Thomas Mercer 26807, Arabic hour numerals, subsidiary seconds and up-and-down dials, all hands of blue steel, Earnshaw escapement, cut bi-metallic balance with cylindrical heat compensation weight, palladium helical balance spring, Mercer flat strip spring detent to side of banking block with side mounted jewelled locking stone, satin finish brass bowl and gimbal, two tier plain mahognay box, the top section glazed, applied metal plaque engraved LUNDWALL & COMPANY.. GOTEBURG, with outer guard box -- 7¼ x 7¾in. (18.5 x 20cm.)
