the silvered dial signed and numbered HAMILTON, LANCASTER PA U.S.A. N8521 Arabic numerals, subsidiary seconds and up-and-down dials all hands black painted, nickel plated full-plate fusee movement, the top-plate inscribed MODEL 21.14 JEWELS HAMILTON WATCH CO.LANCASTER PEN Earnshaw escapement un-cut mono-metallic balance with invar cross-arm, polished white metal helical balance spring, locking assembly above the balance rim operated by allan-key (missing), Hamilton spring detent assembly with jewelled locking stone, brass bowl and gimbal now in (later) three-tier brass bound mahogany box -- 4 1/8in. (10.5cm.) diameter; 3 1/8in. (18cm.) square
