AN INTERESTING AND WELL-PRESENTED 32':1" SCALE MODEL OF THE WRECK OF R.M.S. TITANIC AS LOCATED IN 1985
modelled by R.A. Wilson and depicting the bow section of the ship with collapsed decks, funnel cavities through which some internal details including the remains of the Grand Staircase can be viewed, collapsed foremast, open cargo hatches, crushed deck rails and many other details. The hull with buckled plating with remnants of black and red paint, rust and marine growth is semi-buried in the sea bed with a debris field of coal aft and other objects, contained within a glazed wooden case with legend reading TITANIC The wreck of the forward section as located by Dr. Robert D. Ballard, 1st September 1985 . Overall measurements -- 8½ x 22½in. (21.5 x 57cm.) Carry case, historic notes.
