From the upper section of a ceremonial greave, curved around the top and arching markedly to the sides, the youthful hero wearing the skin of the Nemean lion over his head, his hair composed of individual curls emerging from his deeply-creased forehead, the eyes cut out, his thin moustache, eye brows and side burns all delicately incised, the reverse tinned
