In the form of a herm topped with a bust of Mercury, the shaft rectangular in section, with moldings at the base, Mercury with his right hand at his chest, the left at his waist, all enveloped in his chlamys, pinned by a circular brooch at his left shoulder, his head turned slightly to his left, with wings in his curly hair, an upright Egyptianizing plume above his forehead, the head surmounted by a cylindrical shaft with a cushion-shaped capital
