Depicted fully armed, wearing a high-crested helmet with incised scrolling on the crown, the cheek-pieces pulled down over his curly hair, his cuirass with a decorative acanthus leaf at his navel, a row of smaller leaves above the pteryges, wearing boots and greaves, a shield in his raised left hand with a head of Medusa as the boss, the pteryges and his bandolier all inlaid in copper, a weapon, likely a sword, once held in his right hand
