of boned blue cotton with white silk stylised floral motifs to bust and hip line, label V & N Diagonal Seam at front opening and lace-up detailing to the reverse, edged in lace and braid, on revolving cream satin torso with gilt lettering Patent V & N Corset, Awared Three Gold Medals, in bow-fronted glazed ebonised case with (damaged) pediment and key-wind going-barrel motor on foliate-cast gilt bedplates -- 29in. (73cm.) high, circa 1900.
