carved with a man standing behind his box with one hand held out, the head, hands, feet and implements in ivory, the robes in wood with gilt decoration -- 9in. (22.8cm.) high; and a Chinese ivory carving of Guanyin standing beside a Buddhistic lion, wood stand -- 8 1/8in. (20.6cm.) high. (2)
