Printed copy of William Aldis Wright, ed, Coriolanus, Oxford, 1893. 8vo, original boards: Irving's acting copy with his autograph excisions and stage directions, in pencil, inscribed on front free endpaper by Irving to Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, Hindhead, 16 January 1901 and on upper cover 'This book is of value. It was the copy of Coriolanus in which Henry Irving had marked his corrections for the Stage and was given by him to me in 1901. A. Conan Doyle', with Conan Doyle's bookplate.
Coriolanus produced by Irving at the Lyceum in April 1891 was his last new Shakesperean production.
