Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's lizard-skin, silver cornered wallet, containing:
his visiting card, address given as Bignell Wood;
a photograph of himself and his two sons in cricket whites, 61 x 90mm; a photograph of Jean Conan Doyle and their two sons as children, 85 x 111mm, annotated on verso by Jean 'This my Beloved often carried in his pocket book';
a photograph of Kingsley in uniform, with a fellow soldier;
autograph note, five lines on a correspondence card, 'Time after time I have thought "it is all a beautiful & wonderful dream from which I will wake up shortly" -- but that feeling has passed away completely now & left behind it a feeling of a calm restful happiness';
three autograph manuscripts, comprising a spiritualist vision, on two picture postcards showing the Carlton Hotel, Johannesburg, another similar on a single leaf, 8vo, and scattered notes on 'Hell' on the verso of a picture postcard showing the Royal Mail Steamer 'Windsor Castle';
typescript on Bignell Wood writing paper, 'For God's sake Arthur strike hard at these people these dolts who will not believe ...';
letter to his father by his son Denis, 21 May 1925, and another signed 'Billy' [his daughter Jean];

a receipt from African Theatres, Ltd, for £55-8-9, 10 January 1929;

with an envelope annotated by Lady (Jean) Conan Doyle, 'My Beloved's pocket book as left by him in his attaché case'.
