autograph note by Jean Conan Doyle, 'I will try to be brave & not to break down so that he shall be proud of me ...';
items relating to domestic organisation, including an autograph note by Jean Conan Doyle on 'Our food consumption for 1917', four pages, 4to, with another similar memorandum, 5 pages, 4to, with a collection of ration cards and related letters and printed ephemera; a menu for 17 March 1911, a collection of blank name cards for table settings, and a collection of library labels;
two billiard break books, for Undershaw, January 1899 - September 1905, predominantly for matches between Conan Doyle and A.H. Wood, 14 pages, 8vo, plus blanks, red roan; and for Windlesham, 1907-1911, mostly matches against Stewart or Malcolm Leckie, 35 pages, 4to, plus blanks, brown roan;
