Lot Essay

Princess Elizabeth was born 22 May 1770, the seventh of King George III and Queen Charlotte's fifteen children. Elizabeth married Frederick, Landgrave of Hesse-Homburg (1769-1829) in 1818. She died 10 January 1840, without issue.
