The handle-less cup with a continuous frieze, one side with Dionysos flanked by two maenads, the god facing right, wearing a long himation and holding a rhyton, a fillet of ivy in his hair, the maenads both moving away but looking back, each clad in a long chiton and a sakkos, the maenad to the right playing krotala (castanets); the other side with three nude satyrs, each with full beards and long tails, the satyr in the center with equine legs, his companions with human legs, the satyr to the right moving left but looking back at a maenad, holding a skyphos in his outstretched right hand, the others moving right, the satyr in the center looking back, with details in added red
