The hollow rectangular box on four low feet, lightly engraved on one side with three roundels, each with a six-petalled rosette framed by borders of dotted semicircles, chevrons and zigzag, the vaulted lid with depressions at the ends serving as handles

Provenance
Acquired by the current owner in the early 1980s from a family friend who was a ship builder in Israel.
