TWO ROMAN TERRACOTTA OIL LAMPS
CIRCA 1ST CENTURY B.C.-2ND CENTURY A.D.
One molded in the form of a grotesque male straddling his enormous phallus that serves as the lamp's nozzle, his hands resting on the shaft, his exaggerated testicles descending behind his feet, the lamp's cylindrical neck protruding from his lower back; the other molded in the form of a macrophallic crouching hunchback, his hands resting on his enormous phallus that serves as the lamp's nozzle, his cheeks puffed up as he fans the flame, with articulated eyes and furrowed brow, a now-missing suspension loop originally joined to the top of his head
