The piriform vase with mold-made appliqués, including a lovemaking scene on one side, the male to the left leaning back, the female straddling him, her right hand on his head for support, a leaping lion below; the other side with the goddess Venus, depicted nude in profile to the right, her right knee bent and raised to her chest, wearing a sash and blossoms in her hair, a running dog below; each with a floral garland arching above, tall palm branches in between, three scallop shells on the neck, a double row of chevrons on the handle, on a cylindrical foot
