signed 'BEATON' (lower right) and inscribed 'COUNTESS/AT HOME/Scene 106' (lower right) and further inscribed 'Ecru coloured satin sheath covered with thick string coloured lace-/selfsame silk frogs/dark violet velvet ribbon, slicing costume, is held with shoulder knot/diamond brooch' (lower right)
