A good sixty-two-plate russet iron suji bachi [ridged bowl] signed Kojima Munetaka, fitted with an o-manju jikoro [neck guard] of hon kozane [true lamellae], fukigaeshi [turn backs] and mabisashi [peak] leather covered, the mabisashi fitted with a gilded copper kuwagata dai [horn stand], long kuwagata [horns] and a gilded wood dragon maedate [fore crest], a good russet iron menpo [half mask] with applied iron omadaka [water plantain] on the chin and a four lame yodarekake [throat defence] of kiritsuke kozane [false lamellae] o-sode [large shoulder guards] of hon kozane [true lamellae], Yoshitsune gote [sleeves], the ni mai do [of two pieces] of kiritsuke kozane [false lamellae] with the sendan and kyubi no ita [two plates, one solid and one flexible, to protect the fastening cords of the do], haidate [thigh guards] of plates and mail, replacement black lacquered o-tateage suneate [shin guards] and kutsu [fur boots], the entire armour gold lacquered, laced in red kebiki odoshi [close lacing] and lavishly mounted in gilded copper, the kutsuwa [horse bit] mon [crest] of the Shimazu family appears on the fukigaeshi [turn backs], sendan and kyubi and tekko [hand defence]
