Signed Yasukuni, Muromachi Period (16th Century)
The blade hira-zukuri, iorimune, itamehada, indistinct midare hamon of nie, ubu nakago signed Soshu ju Yasukuni, nagasa 12¾in. (32.3cm.), in its aogai saya inlaid with decorative roundels, shakudo fuchi-kashira depicting a country scene, shakudo nanako tsuba with gilt kirimon, 17th century, Goto work, gilt peony menuki, shakudo nanako kozuka with a shishi and peony in gilt and shakudo, 19th century
