Two lacquer chaire
Unsigned, Edo Period (Mid-19th Century)
Oviform, sabiji ground, decorated in gold hiramaki-e and gold foil, with branches of plum, pine and bamboo; and another of lobed form, gold ground, decorated in togidashi, gold hiramaki-e with alternate panels of scrolling foliage and stylised snowflakes, unsigned, late 19th Century
The first 2¾in. (7.2cm.), the second 2¾in. (7cm.) high respectively (2)
