Oval with attached himotoshi, black lacquer ground with gold hirame verging on nashiji, decoration in gold and silver togidashi, with egrets among reeds, compartments and risers gold nashiji, signed in gold hiramaki-e Kajikawa Hidetaka and red lacquer kakihan on the base, jade ojime
