Of double-gourd form with integral himotoshi, brown lacquer ground, gold and black hiramaki-e, takamaki-e, with various insects and a praying mantis, fundame risers, nashiji interiors with lobed panels depicting figures among grasses, signed in gold characters on the base Koma Kyuhaku saku, slight chip to one himotoshi, wood netsuke of a seated man beside a gong
