A FINE PALE CELADON JADE VASE, COVER AND A STAND
QIANLONG (1736-95)
Of baluster shape with two dragon-head handles applied to the shoulder, the body carved in medium relief with a Buddhist emblem within archaistic scrollwork motifs and flowers above petals around the base, the domed cover with similar floral motifs below petals around the applied finial, the softly polished stone of pale greenish-grey tone with pale grey inclusions and two russet patches, the spinach jade stand carved in openwork with stylised lotus
