SEUSS, Dr. Two autograph notes, both presumably to his agent Phyllis Jackson, La Jolla, ca 1970s. Together 2 pages, 4to, on Seuss's stationery, each with newspaper clipping taped beside Seuss's autograph notes, slightly faded along left edges.
Seuss forwards his agent newspaper clippings in which he is described at social gatherings and wittily remarks: "Just to keep you up on the local social scene, I made only one Boo-Voo at the party. To wit: Helen MacInnes: 'Oh, Dr. Seuss! If I bring you some of your books, will you autograph them for my grandchildren?" Dr. Seuss: 'Delighted! Provided I can bring you some of your books to autograph for my grandparents.'" (2)
