FIRST EDITION (a posthumous supplementary volume was issued in 1908). The standard authorized biography of this founding pioneer of the women's movement. PRESENTATION COPIES, each inscribed (in the year of publication) in ink on front flyleaf. Vol.2 inscription reads: "Mrs. Olivia B. Hall, Ann Arbor, Michigan, May the New Year bring added causes for happiness to her and her loved ones...& to all homes--is the wish of her affectionate friend & admirer Susan B. Anthony, Rochester, N.Y., Jan. 1, 1899."
