The circular dial with calendar and arabic numbers within a case resting on a cushion and carried by two chinamen, and surmounted by a further seated chinaman holding a pagoda-shaped double umbrella, the naturalistic rectangular shaped plinth issuing an oak tree, with pearled border and guilloche frieze above block feet, with pencil numbering '2869' to the back, refreshments to the decoration
