A LARGE MING-STYLE WHITE-GLAZED DISH
QIANLONG (1736-95)
The thickly potted dish with rounded sides rising from a shot straight foot to a straight rim, incised in the centre with a lotus bouquet tied with a ribbon, under alternating chrysanthemum and hibiscus sprays around the well, and a leafy scroll on the rim, the exterior with chrysanthemum and hibiscus sprays between a band of scrolls below the rim and key pattern around the base, covered overall in an even white glaze with 'chicken-skin' texture
